The "Lunar Spear" The "Lunar Spear"
The "Lunar Spear" is a commission request of an "Eberon" D&D vessel.  This ship was crafted form an exotic floating wood  and powered by a captured air elemental.  Weapons systems are powered by a captured Fire Elemental.  This model included five battery lights magnetized weapons and two removable roofs with fully detailed interiors.  Commissioned by Captain Jarek Litseal.  This project was created for Chris Thomas as a set piece in an elaborate role playing game.

Debut of a new RPG @ Sabol Studios! Debut of a new RPG @ Sabol Studios!
New game with a unique oppurtunity for die hard gamers.
Hi guys,
I actually live in Connecticut but I will be flying down to Atlanta once a month to run a year long campaign that I will be bringing to Gencon in 2012. I love gaming more than I can express here and I wanted to keep this post short so I wont bore you with the details or my background.
So to give you a short idea I basically simply created the game I always wanted to play. A story driven game where combat and damage make sense. One where your actions actually mean something which I will explain a bit more in person. I figure I will just bullet point some of the features below as I feel this post is already going to get Epicly long :)
- My setting is what I call realistic fantasy. Its got elves dwarfs and humans but it has a realism and edge that I don't believe current dnd has.
- The system is not Dnd although I started out as a dnd player and have played 4e extensively. I still play and run a 4th edition campaign that has been going on for a little over 8 months.
- The combat system is easy to learn but very difficult to master. Also character progression is very different you don't simply kill a bunch of monsters rest and wake up with new skills or magic (which the latter is a bit dangerous in my world to begin with ;)
- The game was built from the ground up to be a living campaign more about that later as well.
- Almost everything if not everything in the campaign will be professionally modeled. What?? Yes and I truly mean professionally. I have looked for someone for over a year that could bring this to life and I have found the most amazing artist who is now my business partner to make that happen. His name is Matt Sabol and I'm not exaggerating when I say that there are few people that can match him in the industry.
Below is a link to a few of his previous works.

We will be playing at his art studio here

you can also use that link to get to his website which shows off alot of his other works.
Depending on interest I may be running multiple groups of 6 once a month on the weekends (I will fly down friday and leave sunday once a month.) I expect session to last 4 to 5 hours though is not longer so I may only be able to run two groups. This game will also be going to gencon next year ect. Each person that is selected will need to sign an NDA and I also intend to write your characters (from the people that get selected to play.) into the actual story lines ect. I will also plan on having online blog up that details our misadventures ect.
If you are interested and want more info please email me at

formulajh7@gmail.com
Feel free to add in backstories of past dnd characters and a little bit about yourself as well.
Important things to remember when emailing.
I will be picking people that love roleplaying.
Once the dates and times are finalized you need to make sure you can commit to at least 12 sessions throught the year.(We will be playing once a month) I will be flying down so rescheduling will be difficult so once we finalize the dates make sure you can free your schedule.

Thanks,
Chris
